What is it about?
It tells us the gripping story of American Franklin Book Programs in the years after WWII. It shows how publishing books in translation helped the Americans to resist the Soviet propaganda. The article shows this with a focus on the program in Iran. It also challenges the idea that such programs as propaganda.

Perspectives
I have enjoyed working on the topic and find it highly relevant for the sustained troubles in the Middle East mainly due to American policies.
