What is it about?

In this paper we investigated mechanisms of short interval time estimation using EEG. Often it is assumed that negative events are temporally overestimated. However, we could not replicate this for seeing angry compared to neutral faces. However, the EEG-data showed that a temporal desicion is formed already before to the offset of the presented faces, suggesting that estimating the duration of events is an online rather than a post-hoc process.
