What is it about?
The genus Choeras Mason, 1981 is distributed with six species in Iran (Western Asia), most of them recorded in the North. A total of 42 Choeras specimens from this country were re-examined, and some notes and colorful photographs are provided. Additionally, the geographical distribution data of the known Iranian Choeras species is discussed and a distribution map is generated. Finally, a correction for the province name of the type locality is proposed for the species Choeras qazviniensis Fernandez-Triana & Talebi, 2019.
