What is it about?
The paper discusses a long standing issue, the reconstruction of Proto-Indo-European word order. We argue that a reconstructed language should look as much as possible as spoken languages, and try to demonstrate our claim by means of a quatitative analysis based on data from syntactically parsed corpora (treebanks).
