Why is it important?
The Turkic etymons of the various Mandarin grammatical items offer a succinct interpretation for the intrinsic semantic contents of the identified terms, which otherwise have been subject to unnecessary overly complex scholarly studies. In light of the Turkic etymology identifed, the traditional studies of Mandarin grammar have the tendency to be of over-analyses or under-analyses.
