What is it about?
From the earliest days of church history, the Christian church has spoken of the Eucharist as a sacrifice. However, Pentecostals and other Protestants have often been quite uncomfortable with this language and unwilling to use the concept of sacrifice to speak of the Lord's Supper. This article draws on some deeply embedded Pentecostal ways of thinking to help set out a way in which Pentecostals can understand the Holy Communion as a sacrifice without compromising their Protestant principles.
