What is it about?
Scribes frequently copied the genealogy of Jesus in Luke out of order in Greek New Testament manuscripts because they misread the columns in their model. This paper presents five New Testament commentary manuscripts with disordered genealogy. The complex set of errors are analyzed to reconstruct the manuscript from which they were copied. The disordered genealogy they share along with their other contents substantiates that they descend from a common manuscript and form a new family of Greek New Testament manuscripts.
