What is it about?
Pandemic Pains is a poem about living through the COVID-19 pandemic and discovering hope in an unexpected place. While the pandemic brought fear, isolation, and uncertainty to people around the world, it also created moments of deep human connection. The poem reflects on how, in the midst of collective suffering, the author found love and a renewed sense of purpose. By exploring the contrast between pain and affection, the work shows how personal relationships can help people endure difficult times and rediscover the will to live.
