What is it about?
Not all forms of dehumanization can be explained on the paradigm of subhumanity alone (lower-than-human value), as argued by David Livingstone Smith. Extreme dehumanizing practices require conceiving others as bearing negative value (non-positive value; disvalue), which arises on account of attitudes of hatred. The humanizing movement of love discloses personal value.
