What is it about?

Imagining Otherwise, an Ongoing Proposal argues that imagination and praxis can make curating liberation work. Through spotlighting an advocacy campaign and two exhibitions, this essay discusses art historical approaches, Black political strategies, Black cultural studies, and anti-colonial and decolonial theories the author implemented to disrupt status quo violence in hegemonic museums.
