What is it about?

This article argues that constitutional safeguards could enhance climate protection in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. First, it discusses the climate protection frameworks of these countries. Second, it presents three different constitutional safeguard models and considers whether they could improve climate protection in each legal system. Why is it important?

Constitutional safeguards are not the only possible instrument to create the political pressure needed to improve climate protection. But they could, nevertheless, have a positive impact that should at least be taken into consideration.
