What is it about?
The Yellow Vests movement in France, and the Gezi movement in Turkey took the shape of violently-repressed anti-government revolts from the 2010s. They are however widely different: in France, the unrest started as a reaction to an unfair fiscal measure initially meant to tackle climate change while in Turkey it was a reaction to wide-spread environmental destruction resulting from governmental policies.
