What is it about?
The last lines of Artemisias letter are mutilated. A century ago, Hans Gerstinger provided a new reading after the papyrus was treated by Hugo Ibscher, but adds no commentary. This paper tries to fill this gap by suggesting some interpretations and further conjectures.

Why is it important?
Since Artemisias letter is one of the oldest preserved ancient greek papyri and its religious content is rather unique, an improvement of its text is desirable.
