What is it about?

This article explored what it means to have a diaspora and transnational communities (transnationalism), in other words, how they differ from each other while references are made to migration, asylums, and exiles, among other terms. It features Arab and Muslims as examples and analyses them based on over 7000 surveys.

The importance of this article is that it defines diaspora and transnationalism (transnational communities) on one hand, and Arabs and Muslims on the other hand. Also, it explored how each group's identity outside their homelands, their problems, currents, and future based on surveys handed to seven thousand participants in ten countries in North America, Europe, and Asia.
