What is it about?
It is a rare medical entity that always be missed initially. Although imaging tool could characterize it, it should be kept in mind before. It could be misdiagnosed as a cystic renal tumor. The only thing in our case that ameliorated the drawbacks to the undue intervention is that the lesion was large and destroying most of the kidney and beyond partial nephrectomy which made total nephrectomy justified also.
