Why is it important?
Stroke is caused by the imbalance between thrombus forming and removing activities. A new blood test, Glotal Thrombosis Test, enabled to assess both activities using non-anticoagulated blood (native blood). This test demonstrated that prothrombotic state is high at the event of stroke but return to normal by medication.
