What is it about?
DLBCL lymphoma usually affects the elderly people. It is very rare in the pediatric population and rapidly-fatal if untreated. We report the case of an aggressive DLBCL lymphoma in a 15-year-old girl to raise awareness of this rare entity in this age group.

Early diagnosis and prompt treatment of this disease can significantly improve outcomes.
Perspectives
I believe that early detection of cancer, in general, plays a major positive role in the disease prognosis. I hope that, after reading this article, concerned physicians will be reminded to consider malignancies as an important differential diagnosis in cases of patients with unspecific symptoms.
