What is it about?
A very rare type of cancer. This cancer presented in a very atypical location (the stomach) that has only been described once before in the medical literature. The way the patient started seeing a gastroenterologist was very interesting, as she mistakenly over-dosed on a drug that causes stomach irritation, instead of taking another drug that her orthopedic prescribed for her.

Why is it important?
This is only the second instance of this rare type of stomach cancer to be reported in the medical literature.
Perspectives
The way she started investigating her case was very interesting. It was because of the patient over taking NSAIDs (harmful to the stomach) mistakenly for her orthopedic's prescription.
