What is it about?
The Nigerian spice market if full of untapped resources, infact most of the spices used in our soups etc are sourced from abroad. The essence of this work was to show case the spices inherent in our country and to throw more light on its easy usage.

Why is it important?
There is nothing as important as the awareness that was is available in your locality could have economic implications. Our youths needs some form of entrepreneurial drive, and most of these spices actually grow wildly, with the right orientation and focus, a huge demand could be made for Nigerian spices.
Perspectives
This work for me was interesting and refreshing and also educative. It made myself and the authors aware of the adultrative nature of our imported spices. The work made us realize the ease at which we can produce our local spices even just for household usage.
