What is it about?
Hypertension is persistently elevated arterial blood pressure that have detrimental effects when lest untreated. As we are on the verge of epidemics of chronic diseases, which are often remain undetected until non-reversible damage occurred it is essential to put hypertension and related complication to the attention of major stakeholders; the public, health professionals and decision makers at different levels of health administration.

Why is it important?
Hypertension related complications are often life threatening and what makes a matter worse if that the majority of people with hypertension never been diagnosed or told their blood pressure is elevated.
Perspectives
It is my pleasure to conduct this research as co-authors with whom I have had collaboration. This article can lead to hypertension groups contacting me and ultimately to a greater involvement in hypertension research.
