What is it about?
This study looked at why some moms in Indonesia choose to give birth in hospitals. We found that moms who had more education, more money, lived in cities, and went to the doctor during pregnancy were more likely to have their babies in hospitals. Moms who had a say in decisions and didn't work outside the home also went to hospitals more. To make childbirth safer in Indonesia, we need to help more moms get an education, have more control over decisions, and improve their economic opportunities. We should also encourage more pregnant moms to visit the doctor regularly. This way, we can help more moms have safe births in hospitals.
