What is it about?
Description of the preparation of of porous nanocomposite scaffolds. It contains different concentrations multiwalled carbon nanotubes at different concentrations. The material was characterized by spectroscopy (FTIR and Raman spectroscopy) and SEM.

Why is it important?
The results show this new scaffold material exhibits improved physical and mechanical properties (Young’s modulus of 5.1 MPa and elastic strength of 0.25 MPa). Also, it is nontoxic.
