Real and simulated pantomimed grasping (and reaching) are compared. This project showed that the less rehearsed actions are mediated by the right hemisphere.

Why is it important?
The picture that emerged from this study on pantomimed actions is quite different from the outcomes from studies on pantomimed tool use. Yet, there is no contradiction, really.
