What is it about?

In this paper we review research on how person-organization fit impacts recruitment and hiring. We discuss challenges associated with this research, and we provide a framework for organizing various attributes of individuals that seem relevant when trying to use perceptions of fit in the hiring process. We also make practical recommendations for managers who may be interested in best practices for using fit in the recruitment and/or hiring process.
