What is it about?

Augment human vision with AR/VR and computational glasses technology, including visual noise or visual discomfort cancellation, adding LCD as the optics in traditional glassed but can be used as real-time digital control, and a survey about the existing vision augmentation technology and research methods.

Why is it important?

We first define the visual noise or visual discomfort inspired by audio noise cancellation in the vision augmentation area. We also present the existing technologies of vision augmentation using digital eyewear technology. We explore the use of LCD attenuation as a new hardware for vision augmentation.
