What is it about?
'Automated Oyster Mushroom Cultivation Incubator' is an implemented project on labratory-scale cultivation. This is one kind of incubator where we have tested oyster mushroom cultivation with the help of the Internet of Things (IoT). As this project can have the functionality of maintaining a cultivation environment, so fundamental level automation functionality is also developed here. This paper expresses the fundamental research and development in a very simplified way that anyone from any background can easily understand and implement the process.

Why is it important?
This is undoubtedly vital research work. The current world's increasing human population and matching food demand with it is already a big challenge. On top of that, the global economy and the rampant growth of commodities make it more difficult. The need for 'one house, one farm' is immense in such a situation. But it is almost impossible in city people's densely populated and hectic lifestyle. Hence such automatic-incubator-based farming systems can bring about a revolutionary change for humanity. Anyone can make something like this at home with the help of this paper at a low cost.
