What is it about?
The goal of this survey is to reveal the challenges that should be met before we arrive at a fully automated Edge Computing/Edge Mesh infrastructure that reasons upon the contextual information of everything. For this reason we discuss and classify a high number of machine/deep learing models and optimization algorithms while categorizing them upon their research target.

This survey provide a starting point for novel research to conclude efficient services/applications opening up the path to realize the future Edge Computing/Edge Mesh form.
