What is it about?

The game utilizes persuasive strategies and various game design patterns to motivate the users and make them aware about the secure usage of smartphones. A heuristic analysis for playability was conducted to identify design issues along with measuring the persuasiveness of the game with the help of persuasive researchers.

Why is it important?

It is evident from previous literature that awareness among users about secure smartphone usage is very less. Persuasive games have been successful in bringing about behaviour change in users and have been used in various domains like Healthy Eating, Physical Activity and Information Security. But games for secure usage of smartphones is handful while there is a need to spread awareness among the smartphone users and our game covers this gap.

Perspectives

I hope this might a good start for exploring more about usable security with smartphones in a gamified manner.
