What is it about?
A new dimension of road network analysis with road-types (a measure of quality of roads) which can provide insights on the reasons for the existing problems, such as traffic congestion, faced by the city road networks. We proposed four novel metrics for analyzing road networks from a type perspective and observed the behavior of the networks from 57 cities around the world.
