What is it about?
Artists often have the need to alter fluid simulations. The problem is that re-running the simulation is too time consuming. This system we describe here allows users to interactively edit and alter fluid simulations, such as widening a simulated river or shrinking a dam break simulation.

Why is it important?
This system allows artists and others to alter realistic simulations in realtime. Once the fluid simulation has been run, it can be altered to meet artists needs without the cost of re-simulation.
