What is it about?

Many schools use undergrad TAs in their CS courses. Some having been doing so for decades. There are also schools that do not use undergrad TAs, in part because there is a perception that it is unwise or inappropriate to use undergrad TAs. We set out to find our what the literature has to say on the topic with a structured literature survey. We provide a guide to the existing literature on benefits and practices related to undergraduate TAs in CS. Our target audience is readers considering whether to establish an undergrad TA program in CS, making changes to existing undergrad TA programs in CS, or pursuing research questions related to undergraduate TAs in CS.
