What is it about?
The BCI-Ontology (BCI-O) defines useful metadata for BCI systems in real/virtual-world applications. The BCI-O integrates: (1) a sense model, (2) an actuation model, and (3) a context model. The paper describes the design principle of the actuation model, integrating SOSA and IoT-O.

Why is it important?
This model will become relevant as context-based semantic interoperability will become a core prerequisite for any context-aware BCI actuation application with real-time collaboration in IoT environments.
