What is it about?
Older adults do not use digital technologies at the same rate as younger adults do. Even older adults who do not have any physical or cognitive barriers to using technology often choose not to use certain digital technologies. We identify several reasons why this may be, which relate to concerns these individuals have about the social impacts of technologies. We also argue that older adults are in a unique position to be able to act upon their values regarding these concerns by choosing not to use technologies.
