What is it about?
Much of molecular biology is about signals and decoders. In bacterial translation, Shine-Dalgarno (SD) sequence in mRNA is decoded by anti-SD sequences on 16S rRNA, sense codons decoded by tRNA, and stop codons decoded by release factors. The adaptation between signals and their decoders depends selection and mutation. ssDNA and dsDNA differ in selection and mutation and consequently differ in their pattern of adaptation between sense codons and their decoders (tRNAs).
