What is it about?

The aim of this research is to find out how exploratory testing is used, and to identify the success factors in exploratory software testing in SCRUM. In the context of our study, exploratory testing is a technique performed with the intent to explore, which may result in finding defects in unexpected places and/or learning about the system under test.

Why is it important?

It is important to understand how to make the most of exploratory software testing in SCRUM, so that we can provide industries with useful guidance, and enrich the research field of software verification and validation.

Perspectives

I became familiar with exploratory software testing and SCRUM while working as a software testing. I became so interested in both topics and their relationship, that I decided to focus my research on them.
