What is it about?
Plugging things in in the dark can be frustrating. As a way to make this less frustrating we present LitPorts which light up the plug to give the user a glowing target to aim towards. Prototype testing shows LitPorts have a broad appeal for device users.

Why is it important?
LitPorts are a novel solution to a common problem. Ports do not normally light up and trying to find them in the dark can cause frustration to the user. By lighting up the target port to guide the user to make the connection the user's frustration can be reduced which then improves the user's experience.
