What is it about?

This paper proposes an interposer that can be used in different multi-chiplet systems. Besides, it outlines an innovative chiplet integration flow that encompasses the selection of chiplets, the creation of an inter-chiplet network, and the strategic placement of these chiplets. Collectively, these advancements hold the promise of revolutionizing the chip design paradigm, transcending the traditional reliance on IP-based methodologies.

Why is it important?

The silicon interposer plays an important role in chiplet integration but with a high development cost and time overhead. We solve this challenge by making the interposer reusable. Besides, to make this interposer easy to use, we propose an automatic chiplet design flow that only requires basic settings of optimization objectives by users.
