Spatial position within stream network influences temporal changes of fish assemblages

What is it about?

We evaluated how differences in the spatial position in the drainage network affects how much stream fish assemblages change through time by using enviromental variables expected to vary predictably along the drainage.

Why is it important?

We found that spatial position is important to predict how much fish communities changes through time because it determines harshness of enviromental filters, habitat capacity and dispersal limitation/immigration potential.
