What is it about?

Beetroot juice has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties; thus, it has been proposed that it could be useful for reducing inflammation and enhancing recovery after exercise. However, this study found no evidence that beetroot juice reduces inflammation or accelerates recovery after a marathon, possibly because the muscle damage response was minimal.
