What is it about?

Cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) is a strong predictor of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and mortality. We found that published cut-off values for low, moderate and high CRF from the Aerobics Center Longitudinal Study surprisingly classified the majority of an at-risk sample of inactive, obese adults as moderate or high CRF, in other words moderate or low CVD risk.
