Why is it important?

In order to reduce enormous tobacco burden we need to think and act beyond WHO MPOWER in order to reach the endgame goal of 5% smoking prevalence in 10-20 years instead of 50+ years.

Perspectives

This is the first research to show the perspective smoking burden in a country with moderate to strong tobacco control measure and project different policy scenarios in line with the highly promoted WHO MPOWER with a conclusion that 5% smoking rate would not be achieved under current recommended policy.
