What is it about?
We found that abnormally high neutrophil counts occur in about 1/3 of patients with uterine carcinosarcoma, an aggressive form of uterine cancer. Furthermore, we found that the blood neutrophil count is an independent poor prognostic factor in patients with uterine carcinosarcoma.
