What is it about?
High sensitivity cardiac troponin testing is mainly used to help doctors in making a diagnosis of a heart attack. In this issue of the journal Heart, Adamson and colleagues have now shown that troponin testing several months after a heart attack might further help doctors in planning the best care for their patients who recently had a heart attack.
