Long-term effect of azithromycin in bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome

What is it about?

Azithromycin slows progression of bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome. Long term survival was not affected by randomization to placebo. Randomized placebo controlled trials in lung transplantation patients is feasible, effective and safe.
