Injection therapy for base of thumb osteoarthritis: a systematic review and meta-analysis

What is it about?

This systematic review has assessed and summarised the evidence relating to the use of injections in treating base of thumb osteoarthritis. Overall there is a lack of evidence to support the use of injections and in our opinion larger and more robust clinical trials are needed.
