What is it about?
This study tries to identify patients with active inflammation joint and verifies if they have a better response in terms of pain, quality of life, and disability in comparison to patients without inflammation.

Why is it important?
Facet infiltration is a conventional treatment for low back pain for those who do not respond to traditional therapy; however, the efficacy of the procedure remains controversial. In theory, only those with facet joint inflammation will have the benefit of the steroid injection, considered a potent anti-inflammatory drug with the advantage of local action, not in the whole body.
