What is it about?
The ZIKV IPD Consortium is a global initiative, led by the WHO, to combine participant-level data across existing cohort studies and surveillance systems to better understand the risk of congenital Zika syndrome, fetal death, and miscarriage. Individual participant data meta-analysis will leverage limited follow-up data to understand the medium- and long-term effects of congenital Zika virus infection on ocular, auditory, and neurocognitive development, which are currently unknown.
