What is it about?
Comment on studies finding various subtypes of Vibrio cholerae belonging to the O1 serotype co-exisiting for extended periods of time in Mexico. The V. cholerae bacteria belonging to that serotype are responsible for all seven known cholera pandemics, including the ongoing one.
