What is it about?
We characterized the nasal microbiomes for military infantry that either did or did not develop skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) in hopes of identifying bacterial clues that may correlate with SSTI formation. We also characterized the abscess microbiomes for those individuals that developed SSTI.
