What is it about?

We observed loud impulse high frequecy sounds on the shelf of the Piter the Greit bay (Far East , Russia) and eastern part of the Black sea (Suhum, Abhasia). We observed and discribed the main statistical properties of this bionoises theated as point process and discover the its fractal features.

Why is it important?

The data we obtained could be useful for ecological monitoring of the live on the shelf. There are also other applications related to the use of such signals for communication and acoustic illumination of the underwater environment

Perspectives

I believe that the bionoises of the shelf zone should be described on the entire coastline of the southern borders of Russia
